3. User Content
Any content you submit through the App may be processed by our AI systems to generate responses. You retain ownership of your content, but grant us a license to use it for providing and improving the App.
4. Intellectual Property
All content in the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
5. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and share your information. We do not collect any private data from users.
6. Subscription and Billing
A. Subscription Details
Some features of the App may require payment. Subscription details, including price and renewal terms, will be provided before purchase.
B. Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
C. Free Trial Conversion
Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
D. Usage Limitations
Subscriptions may include limitations on the number of messages or conversations per day/month based on your subscription tier.
7. AI-Related Terms
A. AI-Generated Content
This app uses Claude AI from Anthropic to generate responses from historical figures. All conversations are AI-generated and represent interpretations of historical figures based on available information about them.
B. API Usage
The app connects to Anthropic's Claude AI API. By using this app, you acknowledge that your conversations may be processed by Anthropic's systems in accordance with their privacy policy and terms of service.
C. Content Limitations
While we strive to provide historically authentic responses, the AI may occasionally produce content that is historically inaccurate or anachronistic. The app should not be used as a primary historical reference source.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
9. Limitation of Liability
WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
